Paper Boat, formerly Joe Homan Charity, was founded in 1965 to support children in Tamil Nadu, especially those from poor families with limited access to education. Over 50 years, more than 15,000 children received education and practical skills through our projects.
Today, Paper Boat provides creative learning spaces called 'Children's Hubs' where children learn about their rights and self-worth. We work with expert local partners to offer activities like filmmaking, drama, art, and storytelling. We help children build confidence, creative problem solving skills and resilience as future leaders.
